Pure Desire Men's Ministry
This support group is for men seeking to break free from sexual temptations and behaviors of all kinds, big or small, ranging from lustful thoughts or fantasies to serious sexual wrongdoing.
Many men feel totally defeated in this area of their lives. In one survey of 500+ men, over 90 percent admitted that they were feeling disconnected from God because lust, porn, or fantasy had gained a foothold in their lives.
The mission of Pure Desire is to move men into a deeper relationship with God and each other by breaking the chains of sexual sin through small group book discussion, support, prayer, personal accountability, and use of workbook materials. Anonymity and confidentiality are emphasized to offer a safe environment for sharing and accountability.
Length of commitment: a minimum of six weeks. However, we expect to continue for at least six months.
This group is open to individuals of any religion or of no religion; however, our approach is based upon historic biblical Christianity. The only cost to participants is for the book Pure Desire (new edition) by Dr. Ted Roberts and an accompanying workbook (approx. $35.00).
For information and orientation, and to reserve study materials, please contact:
Bill – 651-647-1653
