The Association of Lutheran Older Adults (ALOA)
ALOA, the Association of Lutheran Older Adults, recognizes that seniors are an important and growing majority in many traditional churches. At least three different generations of seniors exist, each with its own unique perspectives and special gifts to share in churches and communities.
ALOA encourages older Christians to explore and pass on their faith and life stories to younger generations. The Resources tab on ALOA’s website contains useful links to guide individual seniors and their congregations through topics such as Devotions and Meditations, Spiritual and Physical Caregiving, and Passing on the Faith through journaling, storytelling, and mentoring.
