Prayers for Myers-Briggs Types

If you aren’t familiar with the Myers-Briggs questionnaire and its 4-letter acronyms, you can still have fun browsing the “prayers” to locate your own “personality type”—or the types your friends may be!

ESTP: God help me to take responsibility for my own actions, even though they're usually NOT my fault.

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment is widely used in psychology, business, and education. It tries to identify the different ways people see and react to the world by considering four pairs of opposing traits:

  • E/I (Extroversion/Introversion)
  • S/N (Sensing/Intuition)
  • T/F (Thinking/Feeling)
  • J/P (Judgment/Perception)

and assigning the person being evaluated one of sixteen possible four-letter personality “types” (ISTJ or ENTJ, for example). Not all experts agree that people can be so neatly and easily categorized.
